This is a portrayal of my vision of my late grandpa. He was a very classy man, growing up i remember watching him dressing up and going to meetings, or church, or wherever. His very famous look was such as this, a red tie with a black suit. I decided to start from the top with a very intricate face, then eventually fade out to a different style, almost like realism. The realism represents his death, as it fades to simpler abstract colors, and no in between colors.

Aura
On this project 'Aura' I decided to portray my grandma, and her aura through oil pastels. As a kid, i used to spend alot of time in my grandma's house. Throughout my childhood a vision of my grandma was created in my mind, which to this day is still the same. With all her religious beleifs, morals, values, and actions, i thought of her a certain way, and created an aura. These colors and patterns radiate the same ideas i have of my grandma. In this piece I focused on color to balance my main point, which is my grandma.
